Perched at 3,920 meters in Zamthang County, Sichuan Province, Zambhala (a god of fortune) Thangka Training Center is a beacon of cultural revival. What began as a small institute has, over 15 years, grown under founder Jamyang Lodro into a 20-hectare entrepreneurship park for intangible cultural heritage. By embracing a model of "bringing in and going out" and partnering with universities such as Tsinghua and Zhejiang, the center inspires students to fuse traditional craftsmanship with animation and Chinese painting. More than 1,000 students from farming and pastoral communities have honed skills ranging from Thangka painting to incense making and pottery. Over 3,000 people have found jobs thanks to the initiative, which continues to provide ancient traditions with a place in the modern world. (Video source: Kangba TV)
