The 2026 Boao Forum for Asia is underway in Hainan Province. Abdelkhalek Osama, former assistant foreign minister of Egypt, called for the forum to broaden its global reach by bringing in more voices from the Arab world, Africa and Latin America, while preserving its inclusive governance structure.
