KMT leader praises drone delivery and low-altitude economy in Shanghai
Cheng Li-wun, chairperson of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party, on April 8 toured the Shanghai headquarters of the food delivery giant Meituan, where she and her delegation experienced its drone-based delivery service firsthand. Receiving a cup of milk tea delivered from the sky, she noted the vibrant growth of the mainland's low-altitude economy. Cheng described the area as a future trend, emphasizing that its integration of technology, policy, and industry serves as a valuable experience for Taiwan. "I want to bring Meituan back to Taiwan," she remarked. (Produced by Interns Cui Jianing, Song Wanlin, Lu Mengjie; video source: China News Service)
