KMT leader calls for cross-Strait peace, praises Chinese mainland development
Cheng Li-wun, chairwoman of the Chinese Kuomintang (KMT) party said on April 16 that her recent visit to the Chinese mainland strengthened her confidence in its development and underscored the role of dialogue in easing cross-Strait tensions. In an interview with Taiwan internet influencer Chen Chih-han, Cheng stressed that the mainland’s progress reassures rather than threatens.
