'A forest of best practices is growing tall in China,' says UN resident coordinator
To mark World Environment Day on June 5, the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) China Office hosted a special event on Tuesday in Beijing.
In his video remarks, Stephen Jackson, UN resident coordinator in China, highlighted the efforts both China and the UN system have made toward a greener, low-carbon future.
"Positive tipping points are emerging across the planet. And in China, a forest of best practices is growing tall," he said. (Compiled by Xu Zheqi)
