President Xi Jinping held talks with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on Monday in Bishkek. Following the talks, the two heads of state signed a joint declaration of the People's Republic of China and the Kyrgyz Republic on the high-quality development of the comprehensive strategic partnership for a new era and a bilateral treaty on permanent good-neighborliness, friendship and cooperation. Long-lasting applause broke out as the two leaders exchanged the documents.
