Local Chinese communities in Washington DC welcome President Xi Jinping

Overseas Chinese and Chinese students waved the national flags of both China and the US to warmly welcome Chinese President Xi Jinping in Washington DC on Wednesday as he kicked off a state visit to the US. Arriving at the invitation of US President Donald Trump, Xi is scheduled to depart the US on Friday.
