A cut above: Students model paper-cut robes at university anniversary in Xi'an

Students took the runway in handmade paper-cut robes during an event marking the 20th anniversary of Xi'an Kedagaoxin University in Shaanxi Province on November 1. Five robes, featuring traditional Chinese motifs including dragons, phoenixes and peonies, were made over the course of a month under the guidance of an instructor. The students said they felt honored to present their work as a gift to their university.
