Shiguang Chronicle | Two world leaders welcomed in Beijing following CIIE

On November 6, President Xi Jinping met and held talks with Austrian Chancellor Christian Stocker and Gabonese President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema. Prior to arriving in Beijing, the two leaders attended the opening ceremony of the 9th China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. Whether it is Austria, which has participated in every edition of the expo over the past nine years, or Gabon, making its debut this year, both countries recognize the CIIE as a valuable platform and look to the vast market opportunities unlocked by China's high-standard opening-up.
