When serving as an educated youth over four decades ago in the village of Liangjiahe in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province, Xi Jinping once asked the villagers about their dream life.

They told him they would like to eat meat regularly.

Today, this dream has long been the reality.

Great changes have taken place on dining tables across China.

The majority of Chinese people not only want to eat enough, but to eat healthier.

They have become Xiaokang families.
