Giant national flag rolled out on Mount Qomolangma to celebrate China’s National Day

More than 40 disabled people in Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region, made a giant national flag to celebrate China's National Day.

The flag was unfolded at the foot of the world's highest peak Mount Qomolangma, i.e. Mount Everest, at an altitude of 5,200 meters.

The flag is 100.8 meters long and 67.2 meters wide, and weighs 1.3 tons.  Its largest star is about 400 square meters.
