The fifth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held in Beijing from October 26 to 29 has drawn a blueprint for China’s development in the next 15 years.
Details of the blueprint were unveiled in a communique issued after the conclusion of the four-day fifth plenary session on Thursday. The session laid a solid foundation for building a modern socialist country in an all-round way.
"Next year is the starting year of the 14th Five-Year Plan and also a starting point of the second centenary journey,” President Xi Jinping said during an inspection tour in Central China’s Hunan Province in September this year.
The video shows China's historic achievements under CPC leadership since 2012. Based on past experience, the Chinese people are confident of taking a brand-new journey and are ready to step up their efforts to forge ahead into the future.
