Macron tries his hand at speaking Chinese

<p style="white-space: normal;">French President Emmanuel Macron is doing everything he can to warm up to his Chinese hosts during his state visit.</p><p style="white-space: normal;">However, he soon realized it&#39;s not that easy to speak Chinese. &nbsp;A video posted on Twitter showed him preparing for his speech at the Daming Palace in the northwest Chinese city of Xi&#39;an. &nbsp;With the help of an interpreter, he practiced pronouncing Chinese words. &nbsp;When it was time to deliver his speech, he told the audience in Chinese, &quot;Make the globe great again.&quot;</p><p style="white-space: normal;">Several days before Macron’s arrival, heavy snow blanketed Xi&#39;an, with temperatures dropping to -10 C.
