The brightly colored duck first appeared in the park on October 10 and has been drawing crowds to the park since. No one knows how it got there.

The duck has been seen around New York waterways, including the Hudson River and as far away as New Jersey, but eventually comes back to swim in Central Park. "NY's most eligible bachelor," a brightly colored mandarin duck, swims in The Pond in Central Park.
