More than 1,000 elephants face starvation in Thailand because the coronavirus crisis has slashed revenue from tourism.
Thailand has around 4,000 domesticated elephants which visitors pay to trek with, bath or ride depending on the venue.
But all camps across Thailand were instructed to close following the coronavirus outbreak.
Without income from tourists, some owners will struggle to feed their animals.
Recently, the Save Elephant Foundation in Thailand has taken action to support those elephants in need.
