A Japanese cargo ship ran aground off the southeastern coast of Mauritius, causing a massive oil spill as well as severe pollution. The Blue Sea of Mauritius became a black bay and Mauritius launched an emergency response. So far, more than 100,000 volunteers have joined the clean-up action. Japan will send a team of experts to help clean the area, and France will also provide assistance to Mauritius.
