North China's largest desert solar power station goes on stream

Located in the Kubuqi Desert, China's seventh largest desert, the PV power base was built on 25,000 mu (1,667 hectare) area at the cost of 3.75 billion yuan. All PV panels use the automatic light tracing grids, which can automatically adjust the panels according to sunlight angles. It can significantly raise the power generating efficiency and save a lot of human costs.
