Over 20 dead in Nepal bus crash

<p>A bus carrying dozens of passengers including students fell into a gorge in Nepal killing 23, local media reports said on Saturday (December 22).</p><p>&nbsp;<img src="https://imedia-peoplesdaily.pdnews.cn/up/cms/www/201812/23150933x3t7.jpg" title="NO.jpg" alt="NO.jpg"/></p><p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">Video source: VCG</span></p><p>The bus was going from the Sallyan district to Dang, some 400 kilometers west of capital Kathmandu, when it careened off the mountainous road and fell hundreds of meters down a cliff, police were quoted by media as saying. Police said preliminary investigations showed that speeding was likely to have caused the crash.</p><p>Around 14 people survived the crash and have been taken to the nearest hospital.</p>
