Poyang Lake builds world's largest bamboo trestle

Recently, the world's longest bamboo trestle was completed in Poyang Lake Nature Reserve, Wucheng Town, Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province, China.

This bamboo trestle is 4,879.7 meters long and three meters wide. It was constructed of 66,320 pieces of eco-friendly bamboo board in order to protect the international wetland of Poyang Lake. 

The completion of the trestle not only broke the global record for the length of the bamboo trestle, but also broke records of the world's longest handrails, the shortest construction period, and the largest number of construction personnel.
