With Christmas on its way, Santa's village on the Arctic Circle is bustling with activity.

Thousands of people from around the world have made their way to Rovaniemi in Lapland, northern Finland, to visit Santa and his busy elves.

The village's post office is busy with many wanting to send their Christmas greetings from Santa's village, complete with a special Arctic stamp.

Visitors are flocking to see Santa before he and his reindeer set off on their around-the-world trip.

At this time of the year, Santa receives almost 30,000 letters every day from children all over the world.

Sitting in his chamber reading his letters, Santa has a message for the world.

"Our friend nature has been in trouble for a while now and now we all can give one gift together, we can help the nature. I wish you all Merry Christmas," he said before riding off on his sleigh.
