Song to salute Asian civilizations

<p>The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations&nbsp;(CDAC) opens in Beijing on Wednesday.</p><p>&quot;We should keep exchanges and mutual learning with other civilizations in the world, and strive to continue writing new brilliant chapters of Asian civilizations,&quot; Chinese President Xi&nbsp;Jinping&nbsp;said&nbsp;while addressing the opening of the conference on Wednesday morning.</p><p>The song is a small piece of a &quot;love song&quot; written for CDAC and to salute Asian civilizations and all civilizations in the world.</p><p>It’s&nbsp;sung by seven children from China, Republic of Korea, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Indonesia in their mother tongues.</p><p>The lyrics were written to follow the Chinese rhythm from the song lyrics of &quot;Slow Slow Tune&quot; from the Chinese Song Dynasty (960–1279).</p><p>“Just as the sunlight has seven colors, our world is a place of dazzling colors,”&nbsp;Xi said in his speech at&nbsp;the UNESCO headquarters&nbsp;in Paris on March 27, 2014.</p><p><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">(Video source: Xinhua; Text compiled by Huang Jingjing)</span></p><p><br/></p>
