The Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC) opens in Beijing on Wednesday.

"We should keep exchanges and mutual learning with other civilizations in the world, and strive to continue writing new brilliant chapters of Asian civilizations," Chinese President Xi Jinping said while addressing the opening of the conference on Wednesday morning.

The song is a small piece of a "love song" written for CDAC and to salute Asian civilizations and all civilizations in the world.

It’s sung by seven children from China, Republic of Korea, Iran, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Indonesia in their mother tongues.

The lyrics were written to follow the Chinese rhythm from the song lyrics of "Slow Slow Tune" from the Chinese Song Dynasty (960–1279).

“Just as the sunlight has seven colors, our world is a place of dazzling colors,” Xi said in his speech at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on March 27, 2014.
