The year 2018 marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Africa. In that period of time, China’s relations with South Africa have already reached the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
In July, President Xi Jinping will visit South Africa to attend the BRICS Johannesburg Summit. In September, the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) will be held.
The two summits will promote new development of China-Africa Cooperation and BRICS cooperation.
