Volkswagen officially rolled out its last Beetle sedan at a factory in Mexico on Wednesday. In the factory in Puebla, Mexico, Volkswagen held a ceremony to commemorate the shutdown of the Beetle.
The beetle’s history can be traced back to 1938, with three generations of vehicle designs. With its low price and good quality, it had become a dream car for many people.
Its last vehicle will be displayed at a local museum. The carmaker plans to produce a new type of SUV in its original Beetle workshop and sell it in North America.
