Our street interviews conducted in China and some Western countries, like many other surveys, revealed that the difference in perceptions towards the CPC between Chinese and Westerners is huge. Overall, the CPC is vilified abroad but popular at home. So what exactly causes the different responses between Chinese and Westerners?
In 2021, the CPC embraces its 100th birthday. Since the CPC's founding in 1921, China has experienced tremendous changes and has created the oriental miracle. For those who have been trying to decode this miracle, the CPC is the key. Only by understanding the CPC, can we understand today's China.
To help you better understand the CPC and the perception gap, we invited six renowned scholars from home and abroad to share their opinions on the CPC and the historical and realistic reasons behind the different responses.
