“Beijing has its unique blend of the old and the new; it’s really wonderful match and mix,” Greek photographer George Doupas recently stated. He went to a lot of historical sites when he came to Beijing for the first time and was amazed by what the city has to offer. Doupas is the core character of the following micro-documentary. It is part of a series about foreigners' views of the city known as “40 Years On-Beijing Blooming with Us” and is called “When the Traditional Meets the Modern.”
