"Wuhan received global help in the war against COVID-19. It's time for us to return the favor to the world," said a founder of a volunteer team in Wuhan.
On January 23, the first day of Wuhan’s lock-down, Jenny Chen Xi, a Chinese Canadian, established a volunteer group named "Shadow Dream Team" with her friends.
Since that day, Jenny and her partners have been on the front lines of the fight against the outbreak, delivering medical supplies from home and abroad to hospitals, police and communities. Now, the outbreak in Wuhan is under control. They started to buy supplies and send them overseas where they are needed.
