Xinjiang-Tibet Line: A road tests the limits of human engineering

<p style="text-align: left;">The Xinjiang-Tibet Line, also called the 219 State Highway, stretches 3,444 miles starting from the Yecheng County, Kashgar Region, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the north, to Lazi County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, in the south.
