Chen Yunxi, 8, has successfully challenged the outdoor rock-climbing record, becoming the seventh minor to complete the 5.14A difficulty climb. For this level, a climber is required to complete 70 to 80 difficult maneuvers on a route 31 meters long and an elevation angle of 30 degrees.
Limited by their arm length and span, it takes child climbers more than 100 maneuvers to complete the climb. The smallest rock point is only as narrow as chopsticks.
