MAIDAN SHAR, Afghanistan, March 31 (Xinhua) -- Eighteen people were injured when a long-distance bus collided with a truck on a highway in Afghanistan's eastern Wardak province, authorities said on Thursday.
"The accident occurred along the Kabul-Kandahar Highway in Maidan Shar, capital of Wardak province, Wednesday night. The injured were shifted to a main hospital in Maidan Shar," a police official from the provincial Traffic Police Directorate told Xinhua.
