NEW DELHI, Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least three persons died and four others injured after the roof of their house collapsed due to heavy rainfall in India's northern state of Punjab, police told Xinhua on Friday.

Police said the incident occurred early on Friday morning at Kalihari village in Sujanpur in Pathankot.

The injured family members were taken to the civil hospital.
