Mongolia is donating 300,000 live sheep to China. The Mongolian government started to procure live sheep from herders in September, and now the sheep have been transported to the quarantine zone in Mongolia's East Gobi Province. According to epidemic prevention regulations, they will undergo 30 days of quarantine before being transferred to China. The first batch of thousands of live sheep will be handed over to China in late October. They will be trucked to a quarantine zone in Erenhot, one of China's north ports, and be slaughtered in 14 days.
