32 killed in bus accident in northern India

At least 32 people have been killed and many more injured after a passenger bus fell into a river in northern Indian state of Rajasthan on Saturday, police said.
The accident occurred at Dubi in the state's Sawai Madhopur district this morning.
"The bus carrying 50 people fell into Banas river while crossing a bridge over it after the driver lost control of the speeding vehicle," a senior police official said.
While 32 bodies have been fished out of the river, those injured have been admitted to a local hospital, where the condition of at least 12 people are said to be serious, he said.
Rescue work is being carried out, the official said, adding that a probe has been ordered into the incident.
