Local authority confirmed that 41 dead, 37 survived, and 11 missing from the capsized tourist boat Phoenix as of 9:30am this morning.

The remains of the victims are being held in a local hospital, and among the 11 missing persons, five people are reportedly alive, as Thai authorities said Monday that it's unclear if the five survived the sinking or never got on the boat. The other six people still remain missing.

The Thai Navy is currently expanding its search range.
