New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy said in a statement that officials with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention screened 27 passengers from the Royal Caribbean who had recently traveled to China mainland.

Murphy said 23 passengers were cleared and four were being evaluated at a hospital in what the CDC said was out of an abundance of caution.

One of the four reportedly tested positive for the flu.

So far, New Jersey has no confirmed cases of the coronavirus.

According to the cruise line, the ship delayed its departure to the Caribbean from Friday to Saturday in an attempt to "reassure concerned guests."
