BEIJING, March 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted 45km N of Gueiria, Venezuela at 0244 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 91.16 km, was initially determined to be at 10.9833 degrees north latitude and 62.3397 degrees west longitude.
