HONG KONG, April 11 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 10 km South of Shimodate, Japan at 15:44:47 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 56.26 km, was initially determined to be at 36.2091 degrees north latitude and 139.9626 degrees east longitude.
