HONG KONG, May 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 167 km SE of Katsuura, Japan at 05:57:58 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 34.1575 degrees north latitude and 141.699 degrees east longitude.
