BEIJING, May 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted Easter Island region, Chile at 1335 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 22.3561 degrees south latitude and 113.5823 degrees west longitude.
