WASHINGTON, May 20 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted 49 km southwest of Masachapa, Nicaragua at 0330 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 35.0 km, was initially determined to be at 11.4495 degrees north latitude and 86.8122 degrees west longitude.
