WASHINGTON, March 26 (Xinhua) -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted Southern Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 0558 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.935 degrees south latitude and 11.7917 degrees west longitude.
