HONG KONG, May 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 72 km WNW of Port-Vila, Vanuatu at 11:07:49 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.4123 degrees south latitude and 167.7194 degrees east longitude.
