5.3-magnitude quake hits 95 km S of Padang, Indonesia -- USGS

HONG KONG, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted 95 km S of Padang, Indonesia at 04:42:00 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 53.47 km, was initially determined to be at 1.8076 degrees south latitude and 100.4305 degrees east longitude.
