An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted 152 km NE of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, Russia, at 14:44:17 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 45.58 km, was initially determined to be at 53.8365 degrees north latitude and 160.5303 degrees east longitude.
