HONG KONG, Dec. 25 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted 23 km west of Casay, the Philippines at 10:04:37 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 23.21 km, was initially determined to be at 13.2726 degrees north latitude and 122.3008 degrees east longitude.
