NEW YORK, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted West Chile Rise at 23:12:37 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 38.1232 degrees south latitude and 93.7368 degrees west longitude.
