HONG KONG, Feb. 2 (Xinhua) - An earthquake of 5.6 magnitude jolted 42km SSW of Jarm, Afghanistan on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 211.13 km, was initially determined to be at 36.4944 degrees north latitude and 70.6954 degrees east longitude.
