HONG KONG, April 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 38 km ESE of Falam, Myanmar at 11:45:23 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 22.7822 degrees north latitude and 94.0248 degrees east longitude.
