HONG KONG, May 5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 jolted 96 km SE of Lukatan, Philippines at 08:21:17 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 26.2 km, was initially determined to be at 6.5061 degrees north latitude and 127.1311 degrees east longitude.
