KABUL, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- One civilian and four Afghan army personnel were wounded in two blasts outside an Afghan army training center in an eastern neighborhood here on Monday morning, police of the capital confirmed.

"Two hand grenade explosions occurred outside Afghan National Army's Kabul Military Training Center in Police District 19 roughly at 7:30 a.m. Monday, leaving the above casualties," the Kabul police said in a statement, revising an earlier statement saying that initial information found the nature of the blast was a suicide bomb explosion.

No arrest was made after the terror attack and an investigation was underway, the statement added.

Army officers and security personnel were arriving at the training center when the blast occurred.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.

Over the past months, major Afghan cities have witnessed a spate of terror attacks by the Taliban insurgents and Islamic State (IS) outfit.
