BEIJING, Dec. 24 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 jolted 163km W of Port Hardy, Canada at 20:56:23 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 50.5249 degrees north latitude and 129.7119 degrees west longitude.
